A stalwart of the Auckland music scene for a couple of decades or 3, Larry Killip still performs live, in fact he can be often found most Friday nights at The Ivory Lounge top of Parnell in Auckland NZ doing the early set. Larry works his acoustic guitar and vocals to tailored backing tracks encompassing classic, modern covers plus original material. The balance of these can be adjusted to suit but whatever the mix you’ll be sure of a unique collection of entertaining music .
AN ECLECTiC REPERTOIRE:
In live performance Larry Killip plays: originals, (all on iTunes) plus covers from Snow Patrol to John Denver! Beatles to Steely Dan to Coldplay. In a seated “show” the balance may tip more toward originals..while in a bar...just a great mix of music from Eagles to Morrisey.
